Quello di cui penso abbiate sentito parlare in tanti (perché l’azienda che lo sponsorizza ha un grande potere di marketing) è il colore Marsala della Pantone.
The color I think most of you heard about is (because the Company who sponsor it has a great marketing power) Marsala color from Pantone.

Ad una prima occhiata sembra un colore un po’ strano, ma lasciatemi spiegare il perché della scelta di questo colore. Come la direttrice esecutiva stessa della Pantone dice, si ispira al colore del vino marsala con i suoi toni caldi e scuri, che prendono spunto dalla terra.
E’ un colore scuro, con un sottotono di marrone: “nutre” le esigenze della gente in questo momento storico, soprattutto in vista dell’expo come grande evento mondiale.
At first glance, it seems a color a bit strange, but let me explain why the choice of this color. As the executive director of the Pantone says itself, it is inspired by the color of the wine marsala with its warm and dark tones, that are inspired to the earth.
It ‘s dark, with an undertone of brown: it “feeds” the needs of the people at this historic moment, especially in view of the expo as a great world event.

Sappiate che ci sono altri quattro colori che sono stati eletti colori dell’anno: si tratta del Blue Paisley della PPG Pittsburgh Paints’, Coral reef di Sherwin-Williams, Coastal Blu di Kelly-Moore e infine Guilford Green di Benjamin Moore.
There are four other colors that were chosen as color of the year: Blue Paisley of PPG Pittsburgh Paints’, Coral reef of Sherwin-Williams, Coastal Blue Kelly-Moore and finally Guilford Green Benjamin Moore.
Più i colori sono carichi e più vanno usati con parsimonia; create un punto focale nella stanza su cui usare quel colore e poi arredate di conseguenza. Usate i colori complementari, in contrasto oppure in gradazioni più chiare o scure.
Se invece scegliete il più neutro Guilford Green, allora potete dipingere anche l’intera stanza, dato il tono pastello di questo colore, che ben si addice ad ambienti classici.

If you choose the most neutral Guilford Green, then you can paint the entire room, because of the pastel shades of this color, which is well suited to classic interior.
