Stile contemporaneo e minimal a Taipei.

……….

Did you think that maybe I had lost on the way??  Absolutely not, Monday I skipped because I went to Nina Zilli concert  and what to say … it was absolutely worth it.

No more talk: today is the day that I’ll make you dream and I carry you a little around the globe. Today’s stage is Taipei, Taiwan: architects Shin-Jie and Chen Ting-Lang Chen from Ganna Design study have completely restored an old family home, to adapt it to the new needs.

We are talking about an apartment on the 11th floor, 192 m² well distributed over 2 floors. I would say that nothing is missing 🙂

The now grown daughter and mother wants to give new life to the house where she grew up: the ground floor is dedicated to public areas while the first floor is dedicated to the private sphere.

Entering the house, the first contrast it really shows: dark wood floors and white walls. A large kitchen open to living room, to make feel friends and guests at home in this airy and young home.

The color splash is provided by the chairs strictly individually, in different colors of the same tone. In front of the large table we find soft sofas and armchairs, made up of pillows and mattresses.

We climb the stairs and we are faced with a beautiful window, which is inspired by the cathedral windows of the churches: in different colors reflect light in a thousand different ways.

From the tones used on the ground floor (from red to pink) we will find two: purple for the master bedroom and pink for the bedroom.

What better way to not separate himself from the memories of a lifetime and at the same time create new ones?
