Come dare una seconda chance a giochi e puzzle anni ’80

Ve li ricordate i vostri vecchi giochi e puzzle anni ’80?

How is nice to enjoy this long weekend that anticipates Christmas holidays? So much time to rest, cook, enjoy friends and devote a little time to our favourite hobbies.

One of my favourite is art, especially when it binds to design: it comes out works that are stunning.

Avete presente i vecchi giochi e puzzle anni ’80?

Do you remember the old plastic games and puzzles so popular in the 70s and 80s? Now your material will be recycled, but some people have thought to give them a much more flattering chance.

The artist Kevin Hunt recovered them and made them into pieces, then immersing them in concrete slabs.

These objects take on a new aspect, assuming an unusual narrative vein that is given by the current vertical configuration. Through figured titles (the two works above are called “like pulling teeth”), the viewer must make the mental effort to link these forms with other images.

That’s with a bit of imagination also the object to which we are accustomed can become something else, just do not stop dreaming.
