Facciamo un giro alla scoperta di quelle che sono le street art del mondo che penso siano le più belle e originali, arte a tutti gli effetti.

Sabato sera gironzolavo per una splendida Milano deserta, quando mi è balzato agli occhi un dettaglio. In questo periodo di grandi cambiamenti in vista dell’expo, c’è ancora poca attenzione all’aspetto estetico e artistico della città.

Quanti palazzi con i fianchi liberi (perché il palazzo che lo fiancheggiava non c’è più) ci sono per la città? Puntualmente diventano il punto di attenzione di ragazzini (ma non solo… ) che si divertono a scarabocchiare cose senza senso, oppure diventano delle “lavagne” su cui vengono incollati ogni sorta di manifesti.

Saturday night I was wandering for a wonderful deserted Milan, when I suddenly realized one detail. In this time of great changes in view of the expo, there is still little attention to the aesthetic and artistic setting of the city.

How many palaces with a free side (because the building which bordered it doesn’t exists no more) are there for the city? Punctually they become the focus of attention of kids (but not only …) who enjoy scribbling nonsense, or become the “blackboards” on which are pasted all sorts of posters.

Il risultato di solito è triste e contribuisce a creare ancora più confusione in città grandi e cosmopolite come Milano. Perché non prendiamo spunto da alcune città della Germania o della Francia e affidiamo alcuni pezzi della città a questi giovani artisti?

The result is usually sad and helps to create even more confusion in large and cosmopolitan cities like Milan.

Why do not we take a cue from some cities in Germany rather than France and entrust some of the most depressing parts of the city to these young artists?
