Finally we arrived at Saturday and as of course everyone will think, we did get to the day to devote to rest and fooling around, especially now that we are still in winter.

Let’s say so, but for me rest has always coincided with “going around”. You can ask anyone who knows me: since I was very small I fell asleep only if I was around.

It is obvious that when I see old suitcases they enlighten me; do you think about how many trips they made?

How many places they have been and how many people they have met and known? You can not throw them, you have to give them an honorable second life.

Carino eh??

Let’s start with many ideas for future re-use: the first way is the simplest, which does not require any special skills with DI; just find two or three suitcases and stack them for future use as a side table or nightstand.

Cute huh ??

We climb level: follow this tutorial and attach below the suitcase 4 wooden legs to transform the case into a serious table (which you can use with the case open or closed).

Do you really want a super creative idea??

Here you go: cut a piece of suitcase and put anchor bolts on the wall (of course inside the cut case put a reinforcing element, otherwise the anchors do not hold up) and create very original shelves !!

As we always say, even suitcases can be painted or covered with fabric if you find them, but the color is a bit sad….

Look at it this tutorial to learn how to cover suitcases with fabric, to fit them to your environment.
