In this final day of the week it came to my mind that there is a piece of furniture that creates problems for many, very often also to many professionals: the carpet.

Almost always it is seen as a nuisance and also not very useful: you have to wash them and clean them carefully, you have to move them every time we have to do the cleaning and in summer they are not exactly fresh ….

But they have also many advantages: they can cover ugly and old floors, can give that final touch to the room and furnish a maybe not so full of furniture space.

First of all what are the most common measures for carpets? There are small, medium and large sizes to suit all requirements.

There are rugs of 80 x 150 cm, the average of 160 x 220 and 200 x 290 big ones.

Obviously measures are many more, but with a single size is possible to create multiple compositions.

Rugs and furniture placement is usually the most difficult aspect: rules are quite simple.

If you have a rug really big you can place all the furniture you have on it, without leaving any piece out.

If the carpet is medium in size and all there is cannot stand on it, let the back legs of chairs and sofas or the final part of the bed and bedside tables off the rug.

Finally if you have the size small, put the rug in the living room in the center with all the furniture outside.
