When it comes this time of year it takes me the desire to revolutionize home and make a clean sweep of all I do not need and put away what will wait for the next cold to be reused.

Very often in the home places for storing and hiding from view are not enough: it would be nice if all the furniture we had, would have a double function, so as to simplify our lives and respond to all our needs.

There are lots of folding furnitures, which very well conceal their second life: one on all, the bed.

We usually think the beds as elements to be put at the center of our rooms, slightly raised off the floor and then surrounded by wardrobes and drawers, that especially in small houses create the claustrophobia & chaos effect .

Who said that instead beds can not be raised to hold closets and drawers?

Here we are that with few simple steps an entire wardrobe is revealed to our eyes, freeing the rest of the room from the classic cabinets 4/6/8 doors.

Ideas are many: you can create raised platforms of 30/40 cm to accommodate only drawers and maybe make the bed also a sofa, or create even higher platforms, with steps having also a closet function.

If you love Japanese lines, then you will definitely like the bed almost built into the platform that reminds me the futons: with simple maneuvers the side doors of the bed open flap revealing large containers.

On the raised platform in addition to the bed it can be accommodated even any room: table, desk, chair …. it is a useful idea to make the most of the space especially in the long, narrow rooms.

Obviously containers under the bed can also have an eco and green look: instead of the usual drawers, use fruit boxes.

If you are a do-it-yourself addicted you might even realize you the bed container to house the boxes 😉
